Manvita Gandhi, a student of law, is passionate about advocating the cause of human rights to bring about peace and tolerance in society.
Having graduated in Political Science, she sees the world in a different light. Whether countries are at war or at peace depends upon what the governments do and who supports them. Where a country is built on pillars of national interest and power, peace should be the national interest!
Manvita has worked as a Sub Editor with an online magazine for the University of Delhi. She has encountered several divergent opinions and learnt the art of building consensus.
Coming from the land of Mahatma and Buddha, she considers it her obligation to bring change, however tiny it may be. She is a firm believer that in today’s world of rising intolerance and the ‘us’ and ‘them’ ideology gaining ground, it is only peace that can act as a catalyst towards making it a world we can be proud of.
