Muntazir Ali Sayed is a medical student from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, India who will be graduating with the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree in 2018. He is an active student from his professional field, an enthusiast, a researcher, scientist, writer, pensive and someone who wants to bring a change. He has been selected and invited to present his research studies in USA and Amsterdam and won acclaim abroad for the same.
When asked why peace, he remarked, “I believe that all human beings are born with special talent in themselves and a mission to do something for the world, for humanity as a whole. It is only that these talents need to be discovered by them and trust me if this happens humanity will realize its true potential for we are all one.”
He is a member of and has been actively involved with organizations like Medical Students Association of India (MSAI) and International Federation of Medical Students Association (IFMSA) which provides social service activities and free medical service. It includes conducting free health check-up camps for various communicable diseases, giving free education about health promotion, organizing counseling seminars for the youth involved in addiction and also visiting of underprivileged centers to serve the community and country as a whole.

He opines that it is the need of only an opportunity to be given to everyone to unleash their full potential. What was the most satisfying thing you did? “Well, apart from when I see my patients cured and happy, my endeavor which has satisfied me the most is my decision to register for my stem cell donation for children who suffer from blood disorders like blood cancer.” He is a registered stem cell donor at DATRI – an International Blood Stem Cell Registry aiming to find match for people suffering from blood disorders.
Being an ambassador for Postcards for Peace he exclaims, “I am very excited to express my thoughts and exchange them with people from other places and countries. Postcards for Peace will give me an international platform for my voice to be heard. It is a matter of pride for me to be an official Indian Ambassador for Postcards For Peace and I am highly grateful for that. Hail Peace!”
