Richa Gupta is a seventeen-year-old, high school student from Bangalore, India. She is the founder and editor-in-chief of Moledro Magazine, an online literary magazine; she plans to have the next issue themed around the stigmas surrounding mental disorders. She also enjoys editing for Polyphony H.S., Siblini Arts and Literature Journal, and Glass Kite Anthology.
Richa strongly believes in the power of writing and journalism in bringing about social change, and in spreading the values of peace, non-violence, tolerance, and love. She was a former writing intern with Indians 4 Social Change, and is a youth blogger with Voices of Youth, a UNICEF-based platform. She was also an intern with Fields of View, an organisation dedicated to designing serious games and simulations—to raise awareness regarding numerous social issues, such as waste management and ward budget management.
Richa is extremely excited about being an ambassador for Postcards for Peace; she aspires to raise awareness about the topics most important to her – women empowerment, acceptance of all communities, and especially mental health. She plans to spread the word about Postcards for Peace, and bring it to her community and circle of peers. Moreover, she hopes to infuse the positivity, creativity, and hope emanating from this organisation into her daily life, so that she can truly make a difference.
