I am Rozhgar, senior engineering student at Salahaddin university.
Even though I am still at college, I wanted to start to do some voluntary work again. I have always done my best to serve people around me with the abilities that I have.
I am a good problem solver. I am always the first one that my friends ask for advice, and I always try to spread hope among them and motivate them. I am trying to show them that we as young can make changes in our community and we can help one another to create progress in our country.
I would like to be part of helping my society through volunteering works, I already did some volunteering while I was a student in preparatory school in my hometown. The most important point is that I was learning to depend on myself, so I learned responsibilities.
I have been participating in many courses to make differences in our community such as writing articles in newspapers and I have also participated workshops to spread awareness. I applied to participate in the Iraqi Young Leaders Exchange Program (IYLEP) in 2016. This takes place in a number of states in the United States of America. This program is working to develop leadership skills and show how important active leaders will be. Beside those things I always try to be part a solution in each problem. I have heard this program from one of my friend which she had participated in taking courses and she passed level one .
