My name is Tran Le. I am 15 and I’m from Vietnam.
I’m currently a sophomore at a high school in the US. I have been strongly involved in Model UN, international projects for children, and now Postcard for Peace!
Having been shaped by education of both Vietnam & America, along with a unique & diverse experiences, I assert that I would be able to bring readers of Postcard For Peace different perspectives & visions through my blogs, as well as the story of my life.
I have both witnessed and experienced issues regarding peace, gender, and sexual harassment. Having been a victim, I wanted to become an Ambassador for Postcards For Peace so that I can share my own story, to be open to readers, and also to encourage others to be like me. I believe there is no need to be ashamed of having suffered from these problems, yet the point is how to get over it and move on. I believe that there are many victims out there waiting for encouragement of open people like me to be motivated and not to give up.
I also truly care about the world from the bottom of my heart. I want to write and share different stories regarding peace issues in Vietnam in particular, and Asia in general in order to raise awareness of those living with these issues, as well as lifting people’s spirits and giving them hope for the bright future, after tragic and unforgettable pasts.
